A female Blue Moon Butterfly, Hypolimnas bolina nerina decided to pay me a visit. These butterfly's don't breed in New Zealand, they normally live in Australia. We had had really strong westerly winds for the preceding days, so was no doubt blown across the Tasman Sea to New Zealand for an autumn holiday.
